Semester Final Exam ScheduleFirst semester final exams will be administered Monday, January 30 through Thursday, February 2. The end of the 2nd Quarter and First Semester of the 2011-2012 school year is Thursday, February 2. The bell schedule is as follows:
Students who do not have a 7th or 8th period class will be released from school at 9:55 a.m. on Thursday and Friday. School will not be in session on Friday, February 3. High School 101
Welcome Aussies
Estancia High School would like to welcome the 2012 delegation of the Australia Sister City Education Exchange Program from Hoppers Crossing Secondary College in Wyndham, Australia. Over the next three weeks, seven students, one teacher, and two administrators from Hoppers Crossing will be staying with host families from Estancia High School. They will be shadowing the school schedule of their host students, participating in school activities, touring Newport-Mesa Unified School District, giving presentations about life in Australia, touring the city of Costa Mesa, and visiting local tourist attractions including Disneyland, Universal Studios, and Hollywood. Winter Formal DanceThe 2012 Winter Formal Dance "Fairway to Heaven" will be held on Saturday, January 28 at the Marbella Country Club in San Juan Capistrano from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. Tickets will go on sale beginning on Monday, January 9. Prices will be $65 with an ASB Card and $75 without an ASB Card. During the last week of sales, January 23-27, prices will be $65 with an ASB Card or $80 without an ASB Card. Students may not have any outstanding library fees or fines and must have completed the following number of community service hours to attend the dance.
