ASB Program

The Associated Student Body of Estancia High School provides an opportunity for students to practice democratic leadership.  The Associated Student Body of Estancia High School provides an opportunity for students to practice democratic leadership in practical school situations.  Students share with the adults responsibility for organizing and overseeing school assemblies, spirit rallies, dances, student elections, meetings, social and recreational events, the Student Senate, athletic events, and more.  ASB enables students to participate in student government.  ASB Commission Officers are elected in a schoolwide vote twice a year.  The Commission selects candidates to fill appointed office positions.  All students are encouraged to participate and be involved with this highly visible group on campus.  For more information regarding ASB, please contact Ms. Mayra Figueroa at mafigueroa@nmusd.us
