The Australia Sister City Program expands the educational component of the Sister City Agreement between Costa Mesa, CA, United States and Wyndham, Victoria, Australia. Participants in the program learn to appreciate and respect another culture while living with Australian familes and attending high school. The program provides a unique opportunity for the student to become a global citizen. The students experience first hand that "The World is Our Classroom". The Australia Sister City Education Exchange Program was established in 1997 and students began participating in the program in 2005. Each January, Estancia High School receives a delegation from our Sister School, Hoppers Crossing Secondary College, in Wyndham, Australia and sends a delegation to Australia each July.
