12th Grade Counselor and 9th Grade Counselor (A-G)
Hello EHS Students and Parents!
For the 2015-2016 school year, I am so excited to continue working with the class of 2016 for their Senior year as well as a third of our freshmen class (students with the last name A-G). My role as your counselor is to help you in the three ASCA counseling domains: Academic, College/Career and Personal/Social. Senior year goes by quickly so make sure to enjoy every minute! I will continue to visit classrooms on a monthly basis to present and hand out information. There will be a lot of dates and deadlines regarding graduation, college, etc. so make sure you stay up to date on all of the information. I will also continue to meet with all of you one on one to review transcripts and discuss post-secondary plans, create/update four-year plans, and host parent/student nights throughout the year. Some of the topics we will be covering at our counseling events include: High School 101 (geared towards parents of freshmen), college application night and financial aid night. The counseling department will also continue to work with Naviance to help you plan out your post high school plans (college, career, etc.) and will be using it for seniors applying to private school. Please make sure to periodically check my web page and your schoolloop email for updated information along with important dates and deadlines. If you have any questions and/or concerns or would like to make an appointment to discuss any issues, please feel free to visit me in my office (my door is always open) in the EHS counseling department, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call me at 949/515-6555. Class of 2016 - this is an exciting and extremely important year for you so please do not hesitate to meet with me/email me if you have any questions/concerns or need anything. Class of 2019 - this will be an exciting year for you transitioning into high school. High school is only 4 years so make sure you make it a fun and fulfilling experience by pushing yourselves academically and getting involved on and off campus. I wish you all an exciting and eventful year!
