10th Grade Counselor and 9th Grade Counselor (A-G)
Hello EHS Students and Parents!
For the 2016-2017 school year, I am so excited to be working with the class of 2019 for their sophomore year as well as a third of our freshmen class (students with the last name A-G). My role as your counselor is to help you in the three ASCA counseling domains: Academic, College/Career and Personal/Social. I will start visiting classrooms in early October to review graduation and college requirements as well as pass out your transcripts showing where you are in regards to graduation and college status. I will also continue to meet with all of you one on one to review transcripts and discuss post-secondary plans, create/update four-year plans, and host parent/student nights throughout the year. Some of the topics we will be covering at our counseling events include: High School 101 (geared towards parents of freshmen), college application night and financial aid night. The counseling department will also continue to work with Naviance to help you plan out your post high school plans (college, career, etc.). Please make sure to periodically check my web page and your schoolloop email for updated information along with important dates and deadlines. If you have any questions and/or concerns or would like to make an appointment to discuss any issues, please feel free to visit me in my office (my door is always open) in the EHS counseling department, email me at email@example.com or call me at 949/515-6555. Class of 2019 - I am so looking forward to getting to know all of you and being your counselor for the next three years. I wish you a fun and exciting sophomore year and hope you get closer to figuring out your career aspirations. Class of 2020 - this will be an exciting year for you transitioning into high school. High school is only 4 years so be sure you make it a fun and fulfilling experience by pushing yourselves academically and getting involved on and off campus.
I wish you all an exciting and eventful year!
