STEPS FOR PARTICIPATION

1.  Submit your online clearance.

2.  Try-out dates for all sports are subject to change. Please contact the specific coach for your sport directly for up-to-date information regarding try-outs. All students expecting to try out or participate in competitive sports at Estancia much be cleared. Do not wait until the last minute!

3.  Be on a head coach's roster by contacting that coach for tryout dates, attending summer camp (recommended; turn in required waiver form), and/or committing to the team.

4.  Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 (calculated on quarterly report card grades).

5.  Purchase an ASB Contribution Card. The Associated Student Body card helps fund fees of officials. Get in FREE to HOME athletic games and discounts to dances, etc. ASB cards will be available at registration in August and in the student store.

HOW DO I SUMBIT MY ONLINE CLEARANCE?

1.  Account Registration

  • Login to your online clearance account.
  • Select Estancia High School 
  • Username must be a regular email address (not school email).  *You will use this same account each year.
  • Complete parent and student information and electronic signatures.
  • Make sure to check off all the sports you would like to participate in.   

2.  Physical Evaluation

  • Take your physical form to your doctor.  The physical form must be signed, dated, and stamped by the doctor’s office or it will not be accepted.
  • Take a photo.
  • Upload it to your online clearance account. 
  • Keep your original for your records.  (You do not need to submit the hard copy.)

3.  Health Insurance

  • Take a photo of your current medical health insurance card.
  • Upload it to your online clearance account.  (You do not need to submit the hard copy.)
  • If you do not have medical insurance, you can purchase it through Myers Stevens & Toohey  After purchase you will be provided with a copy of your child's insurance card to upload.

4.  Confirmation Page

  • From your athleticclearance.com account, download a hard copy of your confirmation form.
  • Take a photo.
  • Upload it to your online clearance account. 
  • Keep your original for your records.  (You do not need to submit the hard copy.)
