Off-Campus Lunch Permit

Students in Grades 11 and 12 who are in good standing are allowed to go off-campus during lunch with prior parent permission. The Off-Campus Lunch privilege is valid as long as the student’s attendance, citizenship, and scholarship are satisfactory.  Students who fail to meet these expectations may have their pass revoked. It is expected that students with an Off-Campus Lunch Permit will:

  • Report promptly to class immediately following lunch.

  • Follow the bell schedule of the day.  It is the student’s responsibility to be aware of any special bell schedules.

  • Comply with all Estancia High School and Newport-Mesa Unified School District rules.

This form can be completed and turned in during registration or anytime during the school year to the Main Office.  Either a Lunch Permit sticker will be affixed to the student’s school ID card or the word “lunch” will be printed on the student’s ID card during registration.  No student may leave campus for lunch until that sticker has been affixed to their ID card or “lunch” is printed on their ID card.
