Seniors who would like to participate should report to their elementary school listed below on the designated date and time and check in at the Main Office.  Seniors attending the California Elementary School can wear regular clothing or Estancia spirit wear.  Seniors attending all other schools should wear their caps and gowns which will be distributed the day before the clap out.

The Graduation Ceremony for Estancia High School’s Class of 2025 will be held on Thursday, June 5 at 1:30 p.m. at Jim Scott Stadium.  No tickets are required for the graduation ceremony and seating in the stadium is on a first-come, first-served basis.  The stadium gates will open at 12:30 p.m.  We suggest families ask their senior after the graduation rehearsal if they are seated on the home or visitor side of the stadium as family members may want to be seated on the same side. Family members and guests are not permitted on the field area before, during or after the graduation ceremony.  Food is not permitted in the stadium.  Water bottles are allowed.  No alcoholic beverages or smoking (including e-cigarettes/vape pens) are permitted at Jim Scott Stadium or on the Estancia High School campus.  Family members/guests are encouraged to make arrangements to be reunited with their graduate at a location away from the entrance of the stadium (i.e. make plans to meet in the grass area between the stadium and softball field, by the EHS Main Office).  Please note that on-campus parking will be impacted by the construction of the new theater.  Families are highly encouraged to carpool and should expect heavy  congestion in the school parking lots and on Placentia Avenue.

Graduation Ceremony Guidelines for Seniors
On Thursday, June 5, seniors are to check-in at the rear gate on the home side of Jim Scott Stadium at 12:30 p.m. with their caps and gowns in their hands.  Below are the guidelines for the graduation ceremony:

  • Proper attire for graduation includes dress pants, dress shirts and blouses, dresses, skirts, and shoes.  It is recommended that students wear flat shoes as walking on the stadium turf in heels is difficult and can be damaging to the turf.
  • Students receiving academic recognition can wear honor cords, medallions and stoles issued by the school.
  • Seniors are not allowed to wear flower or money leis during the ceremony.
  • Seniors are not allowed to decorate their caps.
  • Seniors are to leave their personal belongings (cell phones, cameras, purses, etc.) in their cars or with a family member as they are not allowed to have these items during the ceremony.
  • Seniors are not permitted to have gum, food or beverages on the field.
  • Staff members will search seniors upon entry to the staging area in the stadium for inappropriate materials prior to the ceremony.
  • Any student whose behavior detracts from the dignity of the ceremony will be removed by school officials.
  • Any student under the influence or in possession of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony.  Alcohol detection devices may be used to screen the graduates upon entry into the stadium.

Diploma Distribution
Graduates will pick up their diploma certificates immediately following the graduation ceremony at the rear of the stadium.  Any graduates who need to return Chromebooks, textbooks, library books, athletic equipment, or borrowed caps and gowns, must do so before receiving their diploma certificates.  Diplomas can also be picked up in the Estancia High School Main Office on Friday, June 6 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
