Hello Eagles! Below is the schedule for the week of March 9 - 13, upcoming events at Estancia High School, and important information for students and families.

Upcoming Events

Any student interested in taking Advanced Placement course for the 2026-2027 school year must attend a mandatory preview meeting during ETAP to learn about the course prerequisites and commitment involved. The meetings will be held in various locations on campus. Please see the attached flyer for more details and speak wit the Counseling department if you have any questions. 

There will be a PTSA Meeting on Monday, March 9 at 6 p.m. in Room 207. Elections for the 2026-2027 PTSA Board will be held at the meeting. Spanish interpretation will be available. 

Estancia High School will welcome the class of 2030 on Tuesday, March 10.  Students in Grade 8 at TeWinkle Middle School will be visiting Estancia on that day. 

ASB elections for the 2026-2027 school year will be held on Thursday, March 12. Students can submit their ballot during break and lunch in the Commons. 

Estancia High School's Future Eagle Night and Spring Open House will be on Thursday, March 12 at 6:30 p.m. Those in attendance will be able to attend breakout sessions on academic and athletic programs, visit information tables, meet teachers, counselors, and administrators, and enjoy dinner. See attached flyer and schedule for additional information. 

Attention incoming juniors and seniors, Link Crew applications for the 2026-2027 school year are available starting Monday, February 9th. If you’re interested in being a leader and helping support our incoming freshmen, see Dr. Rodriguez or Mr. Rodig to pick up an application. Link Crew is a great opportunity to make a positive impact on campus while building leadership skills. Don’t miss out!  Applications are due to Link Crew Coordinators by 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13.

Estancia High School will be on a modified day bell schedule on Friday, March 13. Students who do no have an 8th period class will be released from school at 11:55 am. Students who have an 8th period class will be released at 1:00 pm.

Estancia High School will begin administering the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) to English Learners March 16- March 27. Students will be pulled out of their classes to take the annual exam which measures their English Language proficiency. 

Students and staff are encouraged to wear green to school on Tuesday, March 17 for St. Patrick’s Day.  Earn 5 Star points for wearing green.  

Estancia High School’s Unified Softball team will be playing Corona del Mar High School on Wednesday, March 18 during lunch at Corona del Mar High School.  A Unified team consists of student athletes with and without special needs who play together on the same team. 

Estancia will be on a pep assembly bell schedule on Friday, March 20 for our spring assembly.

The third quarter of the 2025-2026 school year will end on Friday, March 20. The fourth quarter of the school year will begin on Monday, March 23.

Estancia High School’s College & Career Center will be hosting a College Fair at lunch in the Commons on Thursday, March 26.  Representatives from more than 20 colleges are expected to be present.  

Estancia High School’s Visual & Performing Arts program will be hosting their annual Arts Showcase on Wednesday, April 1 during the school day in the Performing Arts Center.  Student work will be displayed and the event will include performances by our Jazz Band and Orchestra.  

Estancia High School’s HOSA program will be attending the State Leadership Conference March 26-28 in Ontario. The conference brings together future health professionals from across California to compete in skill-based competitions, attend workshops, and obtain career guidance.  Good luck to our HOSA team!  

There will be a Student of the Quarter Recognition event for the students nominated by their teachers for their performance during the 3rd quarter of the school year on Thursday, April 2 at 10:10 a.m. in the Little Theater. Families of students who will be recognized are invited to attend the event. 

There will be an ELAC meeting on Thursday, April 2 at 6:30 p.m. in Room 207.

Coffee & Conversation with the Principal will be on Friday, April 3 at 9 a.m. on Zoom. Coffee & Conversation with the Principal is an informal opportunity for parents/guardians to engage in dialogue with school administrators.  The Zoom meeting ID is 957 1718 4740.  Spanish interpretation will be available.

Spring Recess is from April 6 - April 10. School will not be in session.
