Starting on Wednesday, September 2nd, any student who arrives late to school in the morning or is late to any period throughout the school day without an approved excuse from a parent or guardian will be assigned detention to serve that day after their last class of the day.  Students who are late to school or class are to report to the EHS Attendance Office windows to obtain a tardy pass.  Campus Safety and school administrators will be picking students up at the end of their school day and escorting them to the detention room.  Detention will be 25 minutes long and students are encouraged to utilize the time to complete class assignments.  Student athletes will not be excused from detention for practices.  Being on time is a time management skill that is important in all aspects of life including school and future employment.
