Newport-Mesa Unified School District (NMUSD) offers the following Summer Programs to current 9th through 11th grade students. Some programs are offered in partnership with educational partners. Students should contact their counselor for additional information.

NMUSD

• June 23 - July 18, 2025
• Costa Mesa High School | 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
• In-person credit recovery for students currently in grades 9-11: Comp. Lit. 1-3, Geometry, World History, U.S. History, Biology, Chemistry.

Orange Coast College

• June 23 - July 31, 2025
• Orange Coast College | 9 am - 12 pm OR 1 pm - 4 pm
• In-person credit recovery for students currently in grades 9-11: Algebra 1 & 2, Physical Education.

OCDE

• July 1 - August 6, 2025
• Online through the Orange County Department of Education
• Online independent study credit recovery. Various courses offered. Check with school counselor for more information.

7th and 9th Grade Bridge Programs

• A bridge to middle and high school program will be offered at each middle and high school for incoming 7th and 9th grade students. Schools will provide additional information as it becomes available.
